Gasoline prices rise in Lake Charles and across Louisiana

Gasoline prices are rising in Louisiana and the Lake Charles area. According to AAA data, the statewide average for regular gasoline is $3.70 per gallon, an increase from $3.64 one week ago. This represents a nearly 98-cent increase compared to the same period last year.

In the Lake Charles area, the average price for regular gasoline is $3.75 per gallon, up from $3.71 a week ago. Local retailers offering lower prices include Love’s Travel Stop and Chevron, both reporting $3.39 per gallon for regular gasoline.
