Gastech 2026 highlights industrial AI and energy automation

The Gastech 2026 conference, held in Bangkok, Thailand, focused on the intersection of energy and emerging technologies, specifically artificial intelligence and digitalization.

SUPCON participated in the event by demonstrating its approach to the ‘Autonomous Operating Plant’ (AOP). The company showcased various industrial AI tools, advanced automation, digital platforms, and autonomous robotics designed to improve operational efficiency and decision-making in the oil, gas, and LNG sectors. Demonstrations included the Universal Control System (UCS), sensing instruments, and robotic technologies for industrial inspection and monitoring.

Industry discussions at the event also addressed the natural gas-AI nexus, the transformation of human mobility, and the impact of the data center boom on LNG demand in Southeast Asia.
