Gastón Pauls holds addiction prevention talk in Cutral Co

Argentine actor, director, and screenwriter Gastón Pauls held a public talk titled ‘Hablemos’ (Let’s Talk) in Cutral Co to address addiction prevention and mental health. During the event, held at the José Rioseco Cultural Center, Pauls shared his personal journey as a recovering addict, describing his past struggles with drug use and the importance of support groups for both users and their families.

Pauls noted that he has delivered approximately 900 talks to nearly one million people over the last 11 years. He emphasized the increasing complexity of the issue, citing the availability of newer, more potent drugs and easier access for younger populations. The event was organized by Juntos Cambiamos Realidades, and attendees were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, which were collected for the organization Cáritas.
