Gastops and Vestas renew agreement for oil debris monitoring technology

Gastops has announced the renewal of a long-term supply agreement with Vestas Wind Systems A/S to provide MetalSCAN oil debris monitoring technology. The agreement was announced at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026.

MetalSCAN is an online monitoring technology designed to provide real-time insights into machinery health by detecting metallic wear within lubricated systems. The technology is intended to support turbine reliability, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance by helping operators identify issues early and reduce unplanned downtime.

Starting January 1, 2027, Gastops will continue supplying the technology for use across Vestas’ turbine platforms to support equipment health monitoring.
