Gastops awarded contract to evaluate FluidSIGHT™ with Royal Canadian Navy

Gastops has been awarded a contract under the Government of Canada’s Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) Testing Stream program. The company will collaborate with the Department of National Defence to evaluate its FluidSIGHT™ technology within the Royal Canadian Navy.

FluidSIGHT™ is a real-time monitoring system designed to track oil condition, contamination, and wear. By providing continuous visibility into lubricant health, the system aims to move maintenance beyond periodic laboratory testing toward real-time, condition-based decision-making.

Testing and evaluation will occur across various environments, including laboratory facilities in Ottawa and Montreal, as well as on marine vessels operating in Atlantic Canada. The project includes the delivery of systems, software, training, and technical expertise to support the Navy’s predictive maintenance capabilities.
