Gastronomic events and culinary awards held in Colombia

Additionally, the fifth edition of El Mejor Dulce del Oriente, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Antioquia, has concluded. The award for Best Sweet of the East was given to Montañitas de Oriente, a creation by Carolina María Valencia Campuzano of Micaía Repostería. The winning dessert features a corn cookie base with fillings inspired by regional flavors, including coffee, panela, and local cheese.
