Chihuahua hosts diverse cultural and adventure festivals

The Chihuahua Secretariat of Tourism has announced a wide-ranging agenda of cultural, sporting, and adventure activities for the upcoming weekend. The program includes the Adventure Tourism International Festival (FITA Chihuahua) and the Chihuahua es Para Ti initiative, featuring regional gastronomic and cultural proposals.

Sporting events include the Ruta Coyote 4x4 experience in Gran Morelos, the Reto Chihuas VIP off-road activities in Ojinaga, and the Desafío MTB La Huesuda mountain bike race in San Andrés. Cultural celebrations focus on Day of the Dead traditions, with festivals scheduled in Aldama, Casas Grandes, Cuauhtémoc, and Creel, alongside specialized events like the National Saxophone Festival in Ojinaga.

Additionally, the Cuulinaria gastronomic festival is set to hold its eighth edition on November 7 and 8. Moving to a new venue at the Unión Ganadera Regional de Chihuahua to accommodate growth, the event expects up to 20,000 daily visitors and will feature 80 exhibitors showcasing regional products such as sotol, craft beer, and traditional cuisine.
