Gastronomic festivals held in Novigrad and Velika Gorica

Various gastronomic events are taking place in Croatia, highlighting seasonal autumn ingredients. In Novigrad, the Park Food Fest is scheduled for October 30 and 31 at the Mandrač harbor and the Fisherman's Park. The event features street food prepared by local restaurateurs, including specialties such as truffle pasta, game meat gnocchi, squid risotto, and Adriatic seafood. Local products like Istrian prosciutto, sausages, and honey will also be available for purchase.

In Velika Gorica, the 25th anniversary of Gastro Turopolja is being celebrated with a dedicated Gastro Week running from October 1 to 11. Local establishments are offering specialized seasonal menus. Participating venues include Batak Velika Gorica, which offers meat-centric menus featuring beef tartar and gourmet platters, and Bistro Babriga, which focuses on autumn flavors like pumpkin and forest mushrooms.
