Gastronomy updates in Bruchsal and Neuburg

In Bruchsal-Untergrombach, the restaurant on Michaelsberg remains closed following the insolvency of its previous tenant, Thomas Schramm. The church community is currently searching for a new tenant to take over the premises, with hopes for a reopening in the spring. Local visitors have expressed a preference for simple, traditional fare such as sausage salad, snacks, cake, and warm beverages rather than fine dining.

In Neuburg, the traditional Pfafflinger restaurant at Schrannenplatz is set to reopen on November 20 as Pfafflinger Wirtshaus. Following extensive renovations, including a new kitchen and modernized electrical systems, the establishment will be operated by brothers Nico and Manuel Valasakis. The new concept aims to blend Bavarian tradition with modern elements, offering classic dishes alongside vegetarian and vegan options, while also serving as a venue for football fans.
