GastroShow 2026 to showcase Turkish gastronomy in Istanbul

GastroShow 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 9–10, 2026, at the Taşyapı Event Center in Istanbul. Led by the Gastronomy Tourism Association (GTD) in collaboration with Turkuvaz Medya and Rota Fuar, the event aims to showcase Turkey’s culinary, tourism, and export potential to an international audience.

The upcoming edition will be the fourth held in Turkey and the eighth globally. The central theme for the event will be ‘Zero Waste,’ focusing on reducing food waste, sustainable production, the protection of natural resources, and the circular economy. The program intends to facilitate B2B meetings to connect Turkish producers and exporters with international buyers.

Participating brands, such as the Kayseri-based Başyazıcı, plan to showcase regional specialties like sucuk and pastırma. Additionally, industry leaders have emphasized the importance of increasing domestic meat production to ensure food security and meet the protein needs of the population while maintaining competitive global prices.
