Gastrosophy Fest to host 4,000 visitors in Athens

The Gastrosophy Fest powered by Protergia is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Faliro Indoor Arena (Tae Kwon Do) in Athens. Moving to a larger venue, the event aims to host approximately 4,000 visitors to explore the intersection of gastronomy, production, entrepreneurship, and tourism.

Under the theme ‘The Value of Nourishment and Its Journey’, the festival examines food as a complex economic and social ecosystem. Discussions will cover the entire value chain, from raw materials and production to processing, hospitality, and consumption. The event seeks to highlight how gastronomy connects various sectors, including local economies, innovation, and sustainability.

The program includes a forum and a Food & Wine Party featuring over 20 live cooking stations. The festival will host prominent Greek and international chefs, including those holding a combined total of 15 Michelin stars, to discuss culinary identity, wine culture, and the future of food.
