GATEM Espelho Mágico to premiere new production in Setúbal

The Setúbal-based theater company GATEM Espelho Mágico is launching a new production of ‘A Bela e o Monstro’ (Beauty and the Beast). Directed by Miguel Assis, the show is scheduled to premiere on October 9 at the Fórum Municipal Luísa Todi in Setúbal.

Following the premiere, the production will begin a tour of Portugal, with its next scheduled performance at Fórum Braga on October 11. The production was developed over several months at the Centro Artístico Fernando Guerreiro, involving a full technical team responsible for music, scenography, characterization, and lighting.

The cast includes Madalena Freire Pereira, Mafalda Santos, and Inês Pavão. This touring initiative aims to expand the reach of the company’s cultural offerings to various regions across the country.
