Gateway Mining and Patriot Resources advance gold and silver exploration

Gateway Mining has identified a new 3km-long gold target, named “Pewy”, at its Yandal Gold Project in Western Australia. The company describes the target as a “Cowza look-alike,” noting that its geological setting closely mirrors the recent high-grade Cowza discovery. The Pewy target consists of a demagnetised structural corridor located 15 kilometres south of Cowza. Following a recent capital raise that provided over $60 million, Gateway Mining plans to begin a first-pass aircore drilling program at the site next month.

In Peru, Patriot Resources has secured a five-year land access agreement with the Tassa community to begin drilling at its Tassa silver-gold project. This agreement provides the social licence required for surface exploration activities. The project area holds a maiden JORC-inferred resource of 31.4 million ounces of silver equivalent, with a significant exploration target estimated between 559 million and 774 million silver-equivalent ounces. Surface exploration is expected to commence shortly.
