Gateway Pundit premieres film featuring Proud Boys members

The far-right media outlet Gateway Pundit premiered the film ‘American Martyrs’ on September 26 at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The film focuses on Proud Boys members convicted of seditious conspiracy for their roles in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

Featured in the presentation were Henry ‘Enrique’ Tarrio, Ethan Nordean, Joe Biggs, Zachary Rehl, and Dominic Pezzola. While the film presents them as martyrs, Jeremy Bertino—the actual fifth member of the ‘seditious five’ who testified against the others—was excluded. Tarrio received a full presidential pardon, while the sentences of Nordean, Biggs, Rehl, and Pezzola were commuted by executive order on January 20, 2025.

The event, held near Mar-a-Lago, included attendees such as Rudy Giuliani, Michael Flynn, George Santos, and Lara Logan. Additionally, legal records show that the Proud Boys trademark was awarded to the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal (MAME) church following a lawsuit filed after members of the group destroyed a church banner in Washington, D.C. in 2020.
