The suspect fled on foot along the railway tracks toward Rimini, prompting authorities to temporarily suspend train traffic to ensure safety during the pursuit. After a kilometer-long chase, the individual attempted to evade capture by jumping into a ditch and reportedly attacked Carabinieri officers with a pointed wooden tool before being apprehended.
