Gaurav Khanna quits Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 to save Ruhaanika Dhawan

Actor Gaurav Khanna has voluntarily withdrawn from the reality stunt show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’ despite winning the most recent elimination task. Khanna, who had previously returned to the competition as a wild-card contestant, decided to exit the show to protect his health and ensure the safety of other participants.

During the elimination stunt, which involved contestants climbing a suspended platform to remove flags, Khanna successfully retrieved two flags. While contestant Ruhaanika Dhawan slipped and fell from the platform, causing her stunt to be halted, Khanna’s victory would have typically secured his spot. However, he chose to step down to save Dhawan from elimination.

Khanna cited an elbow injury as the primary reason for his departure, stating to host Rohit Shetty that he could not perform at 100 per cent and did not want to take the place of a physically fit contestant. The actor became emotional during his announcement, apologizing to the host and his fellow contestants before departing the show.
