Gaviões da Fiel announces protests against Corinthians leadership

The Gaviões da Fiel, the primary organized supporter group of Corinthians, has announced plans for mass protests against the club's leadership. Alexandre Domenico, president of the group, cited dissatisfaction with the decision not to renew the contract of Dutch striker Memphis Depay due to financial reasons. The group is also calling for judicial intervention, alleging a lack of transparency and responsibility from the club's presidency, Board of Directors, and the Council of Orientation and Supervision (CORI).

In a separate development, a police report has been filed against Alexandre Domenico following an alleged physical altercation with a journalist from 'Blog do Paulinho'. The journalist claims that Domenico and two accomplices attacked him at the club's social headquarters, resulting in physical strikes and damage to the journalist's vehicle. The victim alleges the motivation for the attack was critical coverage regarding Domenico's leadership within the supporter group.
