Gavin McKenna ranked as top NHL prospect ahead of Maple Leafs debut

Gavin McKenna has been ranked as the top prospect in the NHL, topping the league's list of the 26 best prospects. The Toronto Maple Leafs' first-overall draft pick narrowly edged out Porter Martone of the Philadelphia Flyers and Anton Frondell of the Chicago Blackhawks.

New Jersey Devils star Jack Hughes commented on McKenna's situation, suggesting that despite the immense pressure of being a first-overall pick, McKenna is in an ideal position for success. Hughes noted that McKenna will have veteran leadership from players like Auston Matthews and John Tavares to help navigate the transition to the professional level.
