California enacts new regulations for data center expansion
Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a comprehensive package of seven bills aimed at regulating the rapid expansion of data centers in California. These new laws focus on increasing transparency and ensuring that the industry bears its own infrastructure costs rather than shifting them to residential ratepayers.
