Gavorrano opposition proposes alternative to Pelagone roundabout

In Gavorrano, the opposition group ‘Noi, per Gavorrano!’ has proposed an amendment to the ‘Il Pelagone’ implementation plan. The group seeks to replace a planned roundabout at the intersection of the S.P. 152 Vecchia Aurelia and the municipal road to Pelagone with a channeled at-grade intersection.

The opposition argues that the at-grade option is less economically demanding and should undergo technical verification. They expressed concerns regarding the municipality's allocation of urban development fees, suggesting that resources should be distributed across various local needs rather than being concentrated heavily on road infrastructure and roundabouts.
