Gavyn Knight targets PGA Tour as Vancouver Island hosts his fundraising invitational
Parksville golfer Gavyn Knight, a former British Columbia junior champion and 2026 Boise State graduate, is pursuing a spot on the PGA Tour. After posting 11 top‑25 finishes in college, he won the 2026 Discovery Honda Cowichan Open by one stroke over Andy Johnson.
Knight’s schedule this season includes the Glencoe Invitational, the Mickelson National Invitational in Calgary, several Vancouver Golf Tour events, and Monday qualifiers for the PGA Tour Americas and Korn Ferry Tour. He plans to enter a pre‑qualifier for PGA Tour Q‑School later in the fall.
