Gliwice selects bypass contractor and begins sewage plant modernization

Gliwice is advancing several major infrastructure projects. A consortium consisting of COLAS POLSKA Sp. z o. o. and MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE has been selected to build the missing section of the bypass between Rybnicka and Bojkowska streets.

Additionally, the modernization and expansion of the Central Sewage Treatment Plant has begun. This project, supported by nearly 40 million PLN in loans from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, aims to modernize equipment to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

In the Łabędy district, significant works are underway as part of the ‘Mobile Metropolis’ program. This includes road network reconstruction and the development of new platforms by Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA, which will necessitate changes to local bus organization.
