Four Gazelle electric bicycles have been named ‘Bedst i Test’ (Best in Test) by Forbrugerrådet Tænk, receiving the highest possible score of 91% in an extensive market evaluation. The winning models include the Gazelle Ultimate C380 800Wh, Gazelle Ultimate C5+ 800Wh, Gazelle Avignon C380+ 800Wh, and Gazelle Avignon C380 800Wh.

The test evaluated various parameters, including motor assistance, battery capacity, braking efficiency, and riding comfort. All four winning models feature powerful 800Wh batteries and hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping in various weather conditions. Additionally, they utilize low-maintenance belt drives instead of traditional chains.

The Gazelle Ultimate series is noted for its suitability for active lifestyles, featuring suspension in both the fork and seat post. The Avignon series focuses on comfort with an upright geometry, wide tires, and easy mounting. Some models in the Avignon line utilize the Enviolos stepless gear system, which can operate fully automatically to maintain a steady pace.
