Gaziantep Boosts Food Industry Ahead of 2026 Middle East Food Fair

A joint meeting titled “Gaziantep Food Sector and MFF Middle East Food Fair Joint Brainstorm” was held under the auspices of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, with participation from the Governor of Gaziantep Kemal Çeber, Mayor Fatma Şahin, the Gaziantep Trade Chamber, the Gaziantep Exporters’ Union and other public and private representatives. Participants reviewed the current state of the city’s food production and export capacity and outlined actions to enhance its role as a strategic driver of Turkey’s economy.

The forum also focused on preparations for the second edition of the MFF Middle East Food Fair, scheduled for 5‑7 November 2026 in Gaziantep. Organisers stressed the fair’s importance as a showcase for Turkish food producers on the global stage and called for coordinated efforts to expand the event’s international brand and impact.
