Gaziantep Commodity Exchange launches dual photography competitions

The Gaziantep Commodity Exchange (GTB) is hosting two distinct photography competitions aimed at creating a permanent visual archive of the city’s rich agricultural and cultural heritage.

The fifth annual “Harvest Season in Gaziantep” competition focuses on the region's diverse agricultural production, including pistachios, grapes, olives, and peppers. The contest seeks to document the entire lifecycle of production, from early morning preparations and communal labor to the drying processes and the journey of goods to the market.

Simultaneously, the “Ancient City of Gaziantep” competition highlights the city's historical architecture and daily life. This contest encourages photographers to capture traditional crafts, historic bazaars, stone streets, and the people who maintain the city's living heritage. Together, these competitions aim to preserve the visual memory of Gaziantep's production culture and urban history for future generations.
