Gaziantep FK coach Mirel Rădoi eyes Galatasaray striker Halil Dervişoğlu

Mirel Rădoi, 45, the Romanian coach of Turkish Süper Lig side Gaziantep FK, is seeking to bolster his attack by signing 26‑year‑old Turkish international Halil Dervişoğlu from Galatasaray. Dervişoğlu, born in Rotterdam, has earned 16 caps and scored six goals for Turkey. He spent the 2023‑24 season on loan at Caykur Rizespor, netting five goals in 26 matches, and previously played for clubs including Brentford, Sparta Rotterdam and Burnley. His market value is estimated at around €700,000. Gaziantep began formal negotiations after Rădoi, who took charge in April on a contract through 2027, already added several players such as Florin Ștefan. Dervişoğlu’s contract with Galatasaray runs until 2025, making a transfer feasible.
