In Gaziantep, Turkey, jewelers have introduced a new wedding trend: gold ties for men. These luxury items are designed as a counterpart to the traditional gold belts worn by brides.

According to jeweler Murat Kocardıç, the gold ties weigh between 150 and 250 grams. Depending on the gold content and craftsmanship, the prices range from approximately 1.4 million TL to 1.5 million TL. Kocardıç reported that more than 100 such ties have been sold over the last three years, with demand peaking during the summer wedding season.
