Gaziantep wedding features unusual decorated tire gift

At a wedding in the İslahiye district of Gaziantep, a guest surprised the groom with a decorated vehicle tire during the traditional jewelry ceremony. The groom, Ahmet Göğebakan, works in the auto tire business.

Guest Nihat Alyukarı, a school shuttle driver, presented the decorated tire to the groom to reciprocate a gesture from five years ago. Alyukarı explained that during his own wedding, the groom's father, İbrahim Göğebakan, had gifted him a similar decorated tire. Alyukarı stated that he wanted to recreate that same sense of surprise for the son, following what he described as a local tradition of returning similar gestures.
