Gałęzic commemorates 82nd anniversary of wartime pacification

Local authorities, residents, and students gathered in Gałęzic to observe the 82nd anniversary of the village's pacification. The ceremony honored five residents—Stefan Pawlusiński, Stanisław Lasota, Stanisław Szczepanek, Jan Poruczek, and Wincenty Znojka—who were killed by German occupiers on September 29, 1944.

The commemorations included a Holy Mass in Rykoszyn and the laying of wreaths at a memorial monument. Representatives from the Piekoszów municipal government, local village leaders, and various patriotic organizations participated in the tribute to the victims of the wartime atrocities.
