Gaziemir Municipality opens Ecological House for children

Gaziemir Municipality has officially opened the ‘Ecological House’ to foster environmental awareness and a culture of sustainable living among children. During the opening ceremony, Mayor Ünal Işık emphasized the importance of teaching the younger generation how to protect the environment through hands-on experience rather than just instruction.

The initiative is part of broader municipal efforts toward zero waste, which include waste collection centers and recycling programs aimed at integrating environmental consciousness into daily life.
