Gazipaşa murder: Father and daughter arrested for fatal stabbing

A 20-year-old man, Yasin Erdem Bayır, was murdered in the Gazipaşa district of Antalya after being stabbed 13 times. The incident occurred in the İnceğiz neighborhood near a fire pool, where Bayır was found unresponsive on a roadside.

Following an investigation by the Gendarmerie Crime Research Team (JASAT), authorities arrested 47-year-old Mustafa Ö. and his 16-year-old daughter, B. Ö. The suspect, Mustafa Ö., admitted to the killing, stating that a dispute arose after Bayır mentioned he was looking for “Berna,” whom he described as his “four-month wife.” The daughter reportedly summoned Bayır to the area at her father's request.

A knife used in the attack was recovered by gendarmerie teams hidden under a stone in a forested area approximately 500 meters from the scene. Both the father and the daughter have been formally arrested by the court.
