Gazpacho and Iced Tea Recipes Highlight Summer Refreshments

Gazpacho, a traditional cold Spanish soup, is prepared by blending ripe tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, garlic, extra‑virgin olive oil, vinegar and optional bread. The mixture is chilled for at least two hours, yielding a nutrient‑rich dish high in water, vitamins C and A, and antioxidants, ideal for staying hydrated in hot weather.

Four homemade iced‑tea variations are also presented. The first combines black tea with passion‑fruit purée and vanilla syrup. The second mixes green tea, fresh lime juice and thyme. The third blends black tea with fresh raspberries and orange slices. The fourth uses hibiscus tea, lime juice and mint leaves. Each recipe calls for brewing the tea, adding the fruit or herb ingredients, sweetening to taste, and chilling for at least an hour before serving.
