Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim visits Omo Ibile Igbomina leadership

Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, the Accord Party presidential candidate, conducted a courtesy visit to the Omo Ibile Igbomina House in Ganmo, Kwara State. During the visit, the National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Sir Bisi Fakayode, showcased various renovation, rehabilitation, and improvement projects currently underway at the facility.

Sir Fakayode recognized Olawepo-Hashim as a long-standing supporter and valued stakeholder of the Igbomina institution, noting that Olawepo-Hashim provided encouragement to the current leadership since its formative stages. Despite his ancestral origins being outside present-day Kwara State, Fakayode highlighted the strong bond Olawepo-Hashim has maintained with the people through his upbringing and long-term relationship with the region.

In response, Olawepo-Hashim commended the progress made under Fakayode’s leadership and reflected on the region’s tradition of cultural accommodation and peaceful coexistence, suggesting these values offer lessons for national unity in Nigeria.
