Gábor Kubatov rejects ultras' call to dismiss Kálnoki-Kis Jr

Gábor Kubatov, president of Ferencvárosi Torna Club (FTC), has issued a statement rejecting calls from football ultras to dismiss goalkeeper Zsombor Kálnoki-Kis from Soroksár SC.

The demand from the ‘Fradi Ultras 1899’ group sought the removal of the player as a form of retaliation against his father, Attila Kálnoki-Kis, a state secretary responsible for sports. In a Facebook post, Kubatov stated that a child should not be held responsible for the actions of their parents and emphasized that there is no place for family-based discrimination in sports.

Kubatov asserted that professional performance, rather than differing opinions, should be the sole metric on the pitch. He confirmed that no disciplinary action will be taken against Zsombor Kálnoki-Kis and urged supporters to refrain from such expressions.
