GC Cell discusses immunotherapy commercialization in Türkiye

GC Cell is in discussions with the Turkish Ministry of Health regarding the local introduction of its anticancer immune cell therapy, ‘ImmuneCell-LC’.

At the request of the Turkish government, Kemal Memişoğlu, the Turkish Minister of Health, and Ümit Karvan, President of the Turkish Health Sciences Institute, visited GC Cell’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities on the 21st. The parties discussed licensing, regulatory approval, and potential cooperation in the advanced biopharmaceutical sector.

GC Cell presented its research, development, and manufacturing capabilities, noting that ‘ImmuneCell-LC’ holds the world's highest manufacturing record among cell therapy products. Future cooperation may expand to include Natural Killer (NK) cell therapies, local investment, the establishment of manufacturing facilities, and clinical trials. While discussions are ongoing, specific timelines for regulatory approval or investment scales have not yet been finalized.
