GCC receives $71.50 million from arbitration settlement

GCC has received $71.50 million following the conclusion of a long-standing arbitration settlement. The payment, received on October 19, 2026, resolves a legal dispute originating from the 2011 sale of an interest in SOBOCE.

The settlement follows a favorable arbitration ruling issued on November 5, 2025, and effectively ends the legal proceedings and associated obligations related to the case. This influx of liquidity occurs shortly before the company is scheduled to release its third-quarter results on October 27, 2026.

GCC, which produces cement, concrete, and aggregates in the United States and Mexico, reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $418.41 million and a net profit of $74.27 million. A conference call regarding the upcoming quarterly results is scheduled for October 28, 2026.
