GD Chaves secures victories in Taça Transmontana and Taça de Portugal

GD Chaves secured victories in two different football competitions. In the final of the inaugural Taça Transmontana Sub-15, Chaves defeated SC Mirandela 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time at the Estádio Eng. José Aires.

In the Taça de Portugal, GD Chaves advanced to the third round after a 3-2 victory against Guarda FC at the Estádio Municipal da Guarda. Wilson Tavares led the performance for Chaves, scoring a hat-trick in the first half to establish an early lead before Guarda FC attempted a comeback in the second half.
