Gdańsk acquires 30 new Solaris electric buses

Gdańsk has completed the delivery of 30 new Solaris buses to modernize its municipal transport fleet. The investment, valued at 110 million PLN with nearly half funded by EU subsidies, includes 18 twelve-meter models and 12 eighteen-meter articulated buses.

The new electric vehicles feature high-capacity batteries, with 600 kWh for the smaller models and 800 kWh for the articulated versions. They offer a daily range of up to 320 km without midday recharging. Following this delivery, zero-emission vehicles—including electric and hydrogen models—now account for approximately one-quarter of Gdańsk’s total fleet of 253 buses.
