Gdańsk MOPR launches holiday charity campaign for children and seniors

The Municipal Family Support Center (MOPR) in Gdańsk has launched the 15th edition of its annual holiday campaign, ‘Każdy może pomóc’ (Everyone Can Help). This year, the initiative aims to provide gifts for 650 children and 450 seniors who are supported by the center.

To facilitate donations, MOPR has prepared 1,100 letters detailing the interests, ages, favorite colors, and dreams of the beneficiaries. To ensure privacy, each letter is assigned a unique code so that donors remain anonymous to the recipients and vice versa. Residents can participate by selecting a letter through an electronic form on the campaign website or via email.

Donated gifts are to be delivered to the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk during designated dates in late November and early December. The campaign is supported by Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk and the courier company DPD Polska. The tradition of including seniors in the program began in 2023.
