Poland: Multiple reports of violent assaults and pedestrian accidents

Several violent incidents and accidents have been reported across Poland. In the Wejherowo district, police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a brutal knife attack on a man. The investigation suggests the motive may stem from a prior conflict involving the victim's son. Additionally, two minors, aged 16 and 18, were detained following a separate assault on an elderly man that resulted in open leg fractures.

In Katowice, four pedestrians were struck by vehicles at marked crossings within a two-day period. The victims, ranging in age from 16 to 58, were all transported to hospitals. Local police have launched investigations into the circumstances of each accident and have issued warnings to both drivers and pedestrians regarding reduced visibility and difficult road conditions during the autumn season.
