GDD Alcoitão and APD Sintra compete for Wheelchair Basketball Super Cup

GDD Alcoitão and APD Sintra will compete for the Wheelchair Basketball Super Cup (BCR) this Saturday at the Pavilhão Municipal de Mafra. GDD Alcoitão enters the match as the reigning national champions, having secured the Super Cup, the Portuguese Cup, and the BCR League during the 2025/2026 season.

APD Sintra aims to secure its first title since the 2014/2015 season. GDD Alcoitão coach Fernando Lemos noted that the team faced an atypical preseason due to construction work at their new training pavilion, limiting their preparation to only two weeks. The match will be broadcast on the Portuguese Basketball Federation’s YouTube channel.
