GDF launches digital platforms to expand public service access in Brasília

The Government of the Federal District (GDF) has rolled out a suite of digital platforms aimed at simplifying citizens' interaction with public services. The GDF Digital umbrella includes the Administration Regional Digital 24 Hours for requests such as tree pruning and urban cleaning, EducaDF Digital for school management, and E‑Protocolo for electronic document submission. In health, the Secretaria de Saúde introduced Farmácia Digital, a high‑cost medication management system linked to the National Health Card that enables online scheduling, inventory tracking and clinical monitoring. The water utility Caesb launched Iná, an artificial‑intelligence chatbot that lets users request second‑hand bills, review invoices, view consumption graphs and open service orders through natural‑language conversation. Transport services are also digitised, with BRB Mobilidade offering online card recharges, balance checks and itinerary information via its app and website. All platforms require secure login through gov.br, aiming to reduce queues, cut travel time and improve service transparency for residents of Brasília.
