Gdynia Film Festival to feature 16 films for Złote Lwy

The 51st Gdynia Film Festival is set to feature 16 films competing for the Złote Lwy awards. This year's selection is noted for its diversity, particularly regarding female directors. In the main competition, seven films were directed by women, while the Perspectives section includes four female directors out of eight titles.

One of the featured works to be premiered at the festival is “Nasza rewolucja,” directed by Piotr Domalewski. The film explores personal relationships and the struggle for freedom during significant historical shifts. Following its festival debut, the movie is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release in Poland on November 11, 2026.
