Gdynia Half Marathon sees record female participation

The PKO Gdynia Half Marathon is seeing record participation, with women making up one-third of the 10,000 expected participants for the main event on April 25. In the accompanying 5 km race, women currently account for nearly 60 percent of the registered runners.

This year's event serves as the 35th Polish Athletic Association (PZLA) Half Marathon Championships and is part of the celebrations for Gdynia's centenary. To accommodate the high number of female participants, organizers are establishing a dedicated women's zone featuring specialized facilities and amenities.
