GE Aerospace reports strong Q3 2026 results and raises guidance

GE Aerospace has reported third-quarter 2026 financial results that exceeded market expectations, driven by robust demand for commercial engines and services. The company reported an 18% increase in adjusted revenue to $13.29 billion and a 36% rise in adjusted earnings per share to $2.25. Total orders surged by 49%, supported by high airline flight volumes and a growing backlog of commitments exceeding $170 billion.

To meet rising demand and address supply chain constraints, the company is expanding production capacity and acquiring key suppliers, such as CPP, to secure high-tech casting capacity. CEO Larry Culp highlighted the effectiveness of the company’s ‘Flight Deck’ lean manufacturing system, which has improved shop visit turnaround times and increased output for the LEAP engine fleet.

Despite the strong performance, the company noted potential headwinds, including rising fuel costs affecting airline margins and additional costs associated with increasing production for the Boeing 777X. Nevertheless, GE Aerospace has raised its full-year guidance for the eighth time since early 2024, projecting continued double-digit services growth into 2027.
