Gears of War: E-Day launch set for October 6

The Coalition announced that the pre‑quel Gears of War: E-Day will be released on 6 October. A new trailer revealed an exclusive "Exfil Dom" skin for Dominic Santiago, bundled with an Exfil Weapon Set, that will be offered for free to players who pre‑order the game. Pre‑order customers will also gain early access to the multiplayer beta starting 6 August.

The game is built from the ground up with Unreal Engine 5 and DirectX 12, featuring NVIDIA RTX enhancements such as DLSS 4.5, ray‑traced shadows, Lumen global illumination and real‑time destruction. These technical upgrades aim to deliver high‑fidelity graphics and smoother performance on compatible hardware.
