The Coalition disclosed the PC specifications for the upcoming Gears of War: E-Day, built on Unreal Engine 5 and slated for release on 6 October 2026. Minimum requirements include an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel i5‑10400 CPU, 12 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 GPU, and at least 130 GB of SSD storage on Windows 10 64‑bit.

Recommended specs raise the bar to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel i5‑11600K processor, 16 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, with the same SSD space on Windows 11. The game supports DirectX 12, HDR10, hardware‑accelerated ray tracing, 4K Ultra HD, ultra‑wide (21:9 and 32:9) displays, unlimited framerate, and controller remapping. Optimisations are planned for Steam Deck and Xbox Ally devices, while no PlayStation 5 version is expected.
