Geberit introduces CleanLine30 shower drain with improved hydraulic efficiency
Geberit has introduced the CleanLine30 shower drain, designed to improve hydraulic efficiency and maintenance compared to its predecessor, the CleanLine20. Through extensive prototyping and hydraulic simulations, the company optimized water flow before it enters the siphon.
Key technical improvements include redesigned hair catcher ribs with optimized angles and shapes, and the addition of two guides under the cover to direct water toward the drain. Despite having a narrower drain opening than previous models, the optimized geometry allows for a higher drainage capacity. The development process involved hydraulic expert Matthias Pasquon and development engineer David Bänziger, focusing on the width of openings, the spacing between the cover and the channel, and the structure of the hair catcher.
