Gebr. Maisel brewery wins top honors at World Beer Awards 2026

The Gebr. Maisel brewery from Bayreuth, Bavaria, has secured top honors at the World Beer Awards 2026. The brewery’s “Maisel’s Weisse Alkoholfrei” was named the “World’s Best No & Low Alcohol Wheat Beer.”

In addition to the top title for its non-alcoholic wheat beer, the brewery also received recognition for “Maisel’s Weisse Kristall,” which was named “World’s Best Kristall.”

Marc Goebel, the brewery's managing director, expressed pride in the achievement, attributing the award to the passion and care of the team in ensuring beer quality. The World Beer Awards is considered one of the most significant global beer competitions, featuring annual tastings by a jury to select and promote beers available in retail and gastronomy worldwide.
