Turkey celebrates students achieving perfect LGS scores
In the 2026 Liselere Geçiş Sistemi (LGS) exam, ERA Koleji recorded four students among the nationwide top six, with Can Şimşek answering every question correctly. The school highlighted its individualized, long‑term educational approach as the basis for the results, and its board chair praised teachers, parents and the students themselves.
Mayor Zinnur Büyükgöz of Gebze welcomed four local students who also earned the maximum 500 points, emphasizing that disciplined work and a forward‑looking mindset are key to success. He urged youths to become creators of technology rather than mere consumers and encouraged them to aim for high university performance.
In Defne, district kaymakam Oğuz Cem Murat received two students with perfect scores, noting their dedication and the supportive role of families and teachers. Both local officials presented the achievements as motivation for other students and as a sign of the importance of guidance during the university‑selection period.
